Welcome

Thanks to everyone who made this year's Dennistoun Day a great success. The Raffle has raised enough to cover our website commitments for this year and a great time was had by all.

Thanks particularly to Sean for the brilliant quiz and to Tony and staff at the Nakodar for the Raffle prize, great food and service. Also to all the residents and businesses who donated prizes.

We have now had a 2 month break from the Clean Ups over the summer holidays but not a great deal of feedback as to whether to continue with this community activity. I appreciate that there are more fun ways of meeting your neighbours but the gardens and lanes are private and are the residents responsibility. Those who are signed up NIVs have their own kit of course and can do their own area if they so wish.

Next DCS meeting is 16th November upstairs in the Nakodar and for a meal downstairs after for those who want to chat later.
